Kyoto , Nara and traditional small town my sud part of  Switzerland and Graubunden are my origins. They
are to me a very deepest inspiring places. I can see the richness & depth of Japanese traditional culture.
In addition, my artworks are rich of memories left from the past, combined with the present In every new project I do, I like to experiment with many different pictorial techniques. The most important part of my artworks is the painting and the lacquer work. In all my art work I overlap coatings of colour, lacquers & varnishes by hand, to create multiple nuances on the photographs I take, to trace a biography of my memories. I can make soft textures by using painting techniques. Yes, it is a time consuming technique by painting by hand, but this is my choice to become close to the classical painting tradition. —
